Time to be a nurse

Thanks to everyone for all the "Get Well Soon" wishes!!

my pink eyes are gone (THANK the LORD).  I believe I have some sort of a sinus infection but am dealing with it... it is a walk in the park after having pink eye in BOTH eyes!!

on another note, tomorrow is a BIG DAY for me!

Tomorrow I pick where I want to do my nursing preceptorship.

Generally the unit you pick to do a preceptorship on is the unit you will be offered a job on (hopefully) when you graduate... so it is a pretty big deal.

The bad news? I am going to be up all night deciding what sort of nurse I want to be.

It is a lot of pressure.

Any thoughts? Input? Opinions?

Nursing school is kicking my butt

This week started off with a 103 fever, sore throat, chills....

and has now topped off with PINK EYE in BOTH EYES  (I know you can't tell from the picture... but I promise, pink eye is no joke!)

I am pitiful and need some sympathy/encouragement

only 99 days until I graduate from nursing school!!


I mean not like I'm counting or anything... 

9 years ago today my mom had a brain aneurysm that almost took her life.

I am so thankful that she was not taken from me....

although we joke now that her brain aneurysm might have  knocked a few screws lose....

I cherish every minute that I get to spend with her and know that I am the luckiest girl in the world to have such a wonderful mother and friend.

I love you Mom!!!!
