I will be the first to admit that Gracie NEEDED a haircut
She was starting to look quite a bit scraggly
BUT...
when I took her to Petco for a "TRIM", I did NOT expect to pick her up looking like this:
What the heck did they do to my little girl?
She is NAKED!
Poor Gracie.... (hahaha).

She did it again...
Reason #1283981274 why my mom cracks me up
She has 8 grandchildren (plus 1 more on the way)... but she is projecting that she will end up with 12

I know you can't see these pics very well -- I took them with my phone....
here is an attempt at showing the shirt up close
Can you see the boy and girl "TBA Walter" children at the bottom?!
HAHAHA. My mom is hilarious.
And just to let you know, this is NOT an announcement -- we are NOT pregnant at this time!

My favorite time of the year!
So I haven't said lickety split about the Wake Forest football season this year.
I have had a great time tailgating with all of my friends.
We even got on TV!! Did ya'll see us?
So far this year we have crushed the Presbyterian Blue Hose

and the Duke Blue Devils

We have been rained on
and seen an air show
We lost pretty bad against Stanford but everyone has an off day, right?!
Next game up is against FSU (@ FSU) -- can't wait to beat up those seminoles!
After that is a home game vs. Georgia Tech. We are cooking a pig again this year. Do you remember our pig from last year?
LETS GO DEACS!!

How is YOUR team doing?

Silly Gracie
Little Gracie had to get her teeth cleaned last week. The anesthesia really did a number on her! She was so pitiful when I picked her up... Her hair was EVERYWHERE, her tongue was hanging out, and she couldn't even stand up!
So of course I had to take a video and share it with all of you!

Gotta go see those FLEAS!
I love flea markets! You get the see the weirdest neatest things!
This year did not disappoint. From the strange signs "this alligator is GUARANTEED to be ALIVE!!". I mean do they think I would pay $1 to see a DEAD alligator?
We didn't buy anything except a lot of food but it was still really fun to look around all the "treasures"
This weekend we went to the 43rd annual Hillsville, VA flea market. You may remember my trip last year including the guy I saw with a SQUIRREL in his POCKET!! . (if ya'll didn't see that post, you gotta go back and click the link... it is hilarious!)

The day the Italians throw little girls out of windows
While in Beantown, we saw the WEIRDEST thing I have ever seen in my life. I had to share with you guys!!
The North End was in the midst of the "Fisherman's Feast". We were told the festival concludes something they call "the flight of the Angel". People said it was a big deal and we had to watch it!!
We didn't know where to go so we just decided to start following the confetti
The Angel was supposed to fly at 8pm. At about 7:45pm we found the spot where everyone was stopping. They were all staring up at the sky.
This must be the place!! So we start to wait... and we wait... and wait.... and wait.... It starts getting dark...
and MORE and MORE people are showing up...
We have now been waiting for 1.5 hours but I tell Justin I AM NOT LEAVING UNTIL I SEE THAT ANGEL!!!! He is not amused by me...
People start throwing BLANKETS of money down from the balconies toward a Madonna idol in the middle of the crowd.... I only got one picture but there were tons of these blankets. They are made COMPLETELY of DOLLAR BILLS!! They were HUGE
Finally an angel appears!!
oh wait, that isn't the right one!? Here is the "REAL" angel! She even has a crown!
So all the angels start speaking in Italian -- I have no idea what they are saying but finally they finish talking. I am so excited I can hardly wait!! Then they push the blue angel out of the window and into the sky
She flies right over us... toward the Madonna "Maria" idol
She looks like she is going to cry
Finally she gets to "Maria" and tells her a prayer (in Italian of course).
By far the weirdest and coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. I loved it. I would go back every year to watch if I could!
I didn't take this video but I found it on YouTube -- it shows the entire thing! You gotta watch it!
